  1. I am late visiting all the blogs with all the beautiful contributions to this great cause. Your bracelet was beautiful. So creative and different, and I am certain the lucky one to receive it will just adore it. Have a great week!

  3. I think blogging is like that, Susan, full of ups and downs, strength and weakness, fear, anxiety and total joy and elation. In the end, I have discovered I do my 3 blogs for different reasons. On In Soul I am mostly keeping track of everything Astrid and I are doing...maybe more for US than for anyone else. I love having a place to store it all.

On Shutterchance I am able to highlight one of my images 3 times a week and just put out the artist in me, letting it fall wherever it may.

On V&V I feel like I'm part of a special community that is accepting me as part of the family. My own family is not always there for me, so this has been important.

Thank you for hanging in there. I would hate to lose touch on your creative world and life with Larry. We have many bridges we share, it seems!

  6. I've just recently found your blog. I'm quiet when I visit here as I usually am in person. I understand what you've written in this post. I've had several blogs and feel that I have not connected, no conversations, at least that I've enjoyed. My current blog will be a place for things that I enjoy, a way to find my way back to internet delights. I'm happy to tell you that you are one, one of my delights. Your blog is there on my favorite blogs list. I would have missed your presence here in blogland if you had left. I'm glad you've found some "good parts".

  7. Birdie, dear lady, I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful thing you have done for my spirits. I cherish these kinds of surprises, words that come at just the right time.

I am very happy to know that you are a part of this community and now I can visit you, too!
I also want to find out where in those beautiful Georgia mountains you live ... I am an Atlanta girl myself!

Thank you, Birdie, so very much for going with your heart and connecting this way, email me anytime, too.

    peace love and light,
    Susan

  8. Oh Susan - I haven't visited many blogs lately - it's been crazy and weird. However, I always feel connected with you, and it would be so sad if you'r retreat. I'm so glad you are not! I think blogging can be a steady up and down, at least that's the way I experience it, and sometimes it can be difficult to hold on during a down-time. But you know, we're here!

  10. I've been through the same feelings as you have, and sometimes much time goes between my blog posts, and even more time between my checking out the blogs of those I admire and follow. But sometimes, like this morning, I choose to have an easy beginning to the day and sip my coffee while catching up on others. So here we are... in all our busy-ness and goings-on, trying to find the space and time to stay in touch.

What a cool idea, this bracelet project, and what a beautiful quote attached to the one you made. And I also love the quote at the top of this post. I'm glad I checked it out!

  11. Hey Carola, I do feel like we've been on this blogging journey together and I have so loved your company!

This is what I'm talking about, Eydie! Because you took the time to connect I get to go and visit your space, which with just a glance so far looks so interesting that I can't wait to spend some time there! I am so happy to meet you!

Rebecca, I've been a fan of yours for a long time, had you on my cool spots list since the first and I know how busy your life is in that beautiful place you call home ... thank you for taking this time, it is so appreciated.

  12. Hello,
As I was reading your blog, I could understand and feel exactly what you were expressing, it is so easy to get down, sometimes along the way great things develope! I am so glad I found the first blog for the 7000 bracelets.... It has been so inspiring and wonderful to read about so many people just "passing IT on." Thank you!

  14. Hello Susan
I am a quiet visitor and supporter of your site as by nature I am a bit shy. I enjoy my visits here, and enjoy your visits to my blog. Thank you so much, and I hope you will continue sharing all that you do through your blog and your lovely comments that you often leave for me.
    Thank you.

  15. Hey Kim! I'm thrilled to see you. You know, quiet is okay, I'm the same way and comment usually when I just can't help myself, like when seeing such awesome art that is all around. But I've learned how important the support and encouraging words are for us all, even when we don't realize it. This is good practice for us shy types! I appreciate that you took the time for this.

  16. I hear you about wondering if your blogging makes much difference...is anyone even reading? I look at my stats and its says many people stop there but, why so few comments? You have been so generous in commenting on my blog. This winter has found me with a ruptured disc and the days are just hard to get though. I come to visit you but, don't leave enough comments! You need to continue...it is worth it. I took a wonderful ecourse this winter with Holly Becker of Decor8 blog. It's a design blog. The course was so worth it. There were 500 of us in this class learning from each other. The main thing besieds helping us with improving our blogs was a pretty indepth look at WHY we were blogging. It is so important to know this. I am glad you found me awhile back! Your comments have lifted me on days when I really needed it. Your words are important...so, please continue even if it feels like no one is listening....Love....
