  1. I'm like that with books -- it cheers me to know someone else is, too.

  2. That book would have sprung into my hands as well. Ah, the road of life.... I think I've reached a 'certain age' where I am content with the road. It's certainly had it's hills and valleys but life is what it is. I think a lot more about the steps I take along the road each day. Happy journey!

  3. just the word "Road" grabs me. the thrill. the unknown. the curves. the gravel. it is my happy place. and i tend to buy books with "Road" in the title/subtitle/summary. it began when my aunt had me read kerouac at the ripe old age of 11.
    have you started reading yet?

  4. Lori, I'd be so surprised if most of the gals I've met here didn't feel the same way we do about books!

Hey LeAnn, I'd love to reach that place of contentment ... hopefully soon.

I know, Christine! how just that word brings so much to mind. I have not had a chance to start reading it or anything lately except the lovely blogs that I enjoy so much. Life has thrown us some curve balls and it has not been the summer we thought it was going to be, too much going on!

Thank you all for visiting, I love that you do.
