    Hey LeAnn, it is a bit early, we always have the first snow on Halloween and this is the second one ~ means it might be a long, cold winter!

  6. wow wow wow wow.. too many years in Alaska makes my heart sink when I see that much snow.. but that is because in my mind I am thinking snow will be there for the next 8 months. When you know the sun can come out and melt it out it make it wayyy more inviting!!

  8. What is it about this winter starting so early, Susan?!? Astrid says ours is supposed to be extra cold this year. If the canals freeze, I'll be a happy camper. I want to walk on them...and maybe even skate. That's a big-time wish for me, which may actually come true! :)
