  3. Our summers are so short, I try to savor every day, but when autumn comes around I love it too! Actually it is only the early spring I'm not crazy about because it is cold and rainy for too long.lol

  5. enjoy it! autumn is my favorite as well. I love the warm colors, the feel of a snugly sweater and the crisp in the air. you have had a very eventful summer indeed .. it is time for things to slow down.

    **the closest I have found for delightful weather all year long is when I lived in Cottonwood, AZ not far from Sedona. the fall lasted long, the summers weren't too hot, the red rock & blue sky inspiring. it was magnificent .. or was it I was a mere 22 and the world was all rosy?

  7. I love the fall too. But I always feel a bit nostalgic when a season is winding down. The nostalgia lends to savoring though, so I'm trying to take in a bit of the joys of summer while it's lingering. We've had a tough summer in Colorado, haven't we?

  8. I am with you, Susan - I love autumn as well, it's my favorite season. I can never get enough of all the colors, the warmth of the day and the crispness in the morning and evening. The air is so different than in summer, lighter, easier.

  10. Oh me too...Autumn year round I say...But I am a HUGE fan of winter too...Though not here. It's too wet and slushy here.

    {Once I came here, to this town, to visit my Mother when she came here to attend university. I was arriving in February, I think, from the bitter and beautiful cold of the North, Labrador. I got into the jeep and my newly teenage self proclaimed as we drove along the streets "There is too much SMUT on the roads here. I like Labrador winters better!" Everyone in the car roared with laughter while I blushed. Sadly not the last time I made a fool of myself on that memorable trip...Of course I meant slush...Ah well...}

    I did move here to live with her a couple of years after that but I will always miss the real snow and the Northern lights...
