A strange season

  1. It has been a bizarre Summer, for sure.
And no sign of normalcy yet, here anyway.
I think maybe it's trying to wake us up
so we don't sleep through our lives:)
Seems to be singing a stronger song
    these days, the universe.
Hope the critters are quiet tonight,
    Jennifer

  4. I shouldn't be laughing, Susan, but you did give me a chuckle with this post. For one thing, I LOVE the image with the single pane out. "No wonder," I said to myself. :) Seriously, stay safe. And yes, we all need a vacation from retirement. HA!

  5. Lisa, you have the OCEAN!!! Oh sob--and I have the woods. Susan, that those animals and insects are choosing you is a sign of your peaceful heart and nature-loving soul.

  6. Love, love, love the photo with those little hints of turquoise! I can't tell you how many times I've thought the same thing...needing a break from retirement. That cracks me up! It seems these days everything is off kilter. Love what Jennifer says in her comments..."I think maybe it's trying to wake us up
so we don't sleep through our lives." That's a perfect reflection!

  8. I take all of these except for the snakes on the back porch and the crows that throw out the baby jays (I love jays! but crows as well). It really is weird this year, isn't it? Stay safe - I really hope you don't have any flooding this year and no close wild fires either.

If you have taken the time to come to windrockstudio and read a post and left a comment please know how very much we appreciate it ... thank you! and please know that I am working on the problem of not being able to respond to each one but haven't solved it yet.
