Cemeteries are such beautiful and peaceful places to walk. I love the silence they provide. The old stones are so interesting to read too. Looks like you guys had a gorgeous day!
me too.. we have one right down the road from us that I took my Pop to a couple of months ago .. he's a huge history buff .. come to find out the one here is one of the oldest in the state .. not old compared to the east .. but the oldest was 1852. Would love to know the stories ... they just blow in the wind.
What is it about cemeteries! Astrid and I stop by them whenever we can while out-n-about. You really DO learn a lot about history and culture! And when have you ever been to a noisy cemetery???
