One very long question.

  1. If I could be there, I'd put new sheets on for you! You're so right...that's the best. So hope you both are on the mend soon!!!

  2. I hope the two of you get to feeling better soon, so that you can enjoy the Christmas Season.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

  3. Oh Susan - I'm so sorry and yet you wrote this so tellingly and yes, I do know it and feel it and I'll keep posting Paris pictures so that maybe you'll delight in them a little while you're snuggled in your bed and sheets in the foothills of the beautiful Rockies so far from where I am now but so near and dear in my heart. Be well both of you and heal and relax in the quiet of winter and a Christmas you can relax into.

  4. I wish I were your neighbor so that I could come over and changed the sheets for you and bring you a cup of soup and maybe even some tea...there is nothing so comforting than clean sheets!!! I hope you start to feel better soon. XO's

  5. If I were closer to you I came and changed those bed sheets. I wish both of you that you feel better soon and get this nasty bug out of the house! This sucks big time. Wishing you peace and quiet.

  6. I'd make you a healing bowl of chicken soup, yes I would! Then I'd put a vaporizer beside your freshly made bed, clean the place up, fix endless hot teas with lots of lemon juice, and bring you mindless literature to read when you get bored sleeping.

    Get well soon, Susan!

  7. oh, friend....so SO sorry for the crud and all it brings:/
Maybe it won't drag you down, too.....do you have some charcoal tablets?
I always take charcoal when B gets sick and sometimes I don't get it.
Never quite as bad when I start the charcoal right away. Also,
oscilloc...something. Homeopathy for the flu and viruses. Really good stuff.
If you take as soon as symptoms start, or before, it really slices the ugliness
    into a smaller bite-sized portion.

Anyway, sending love and healing hugs. (and, yes, I know how that is:/)

    Hoping it passes you by,
    Jennifer

  8. Thank you all if you check back here, I went to bed at 11 yesterday, got up once and now this morning it's a little better, at least the train wreck in my head has eased up.Next time Larry catches a bug I will have things like charcoal tablets & anything I can to ward it off. I love you women and how you all understand the clean sheets thing so well, they would be changed if I ask but a woman just knows to do it. I so appreciate your kind thoughts, always.

  10. What a good nurse you are. I've never had anyone do all those things for me except my mother. I hope you feel better soon!

  11. Oh Susan ~ this just sucks! I hope you and Larry are feeling better soon. The dread of knowing it is coming for you too is something we can all relate to. And a man's care, while heartfelt, is not the same as a woman's care. I am sending my most warm and healing thoughts to you both :-)
