about hugging

My Granddaughter shared a video on fb this morning about what happened at rallies when a young man tried this free hug thing ... the differences were amazing and almost made me cry.

  2. No wonder we connect :-D
Hugs are essential to our well-being. It feels awkward to not hug a friend or relative when we are together. It can break through so many barriers and bring the centering we need, whether we know we need it or not.

  3. I am not a big hugger, but I hug when it is someone I really connect with. The interesting thing is that this week was my last week of my current job (I start a new one next week). And so as things go there were many goodbyes. I don't particularly like goodbyes. They feel so final, and I prefer to think of life as a continuum and that I will come back around to connect with people again. So hugging feels too final to me, at least in this situation. But for those people that I truly enjoyed working with, well they did get a hug because I know that I will stay connected to them. This I am ok with.

  6. I'm a hugger as well - well, you probably noticed that when we met on Christmas Day. I love hugs - but you know, there are some people I don't want a hug from. Seriously!
