  5. Wonderful post! So much of this resonates with me...I can't even begin to explain how. Well, I could except it would have to be in person and over a cup of coffee or tea. I am getting back to blogging again after my crazy year of transition and it feels good to be writing again. I am having issues with posting my blog to FB and just this week I had the same thought process as you.....keep it separate. be more aware of my time and what I'm spending it on. I don't have much time to myself with my kids being so young and it bothers me when I realize I've spent the precious time scrolling through things that aren't really worthwhile. Your words have definitely guided me tonight. thank you.

  6. I love this post, Susan. It is how blogging should be - about the content, about connecting, about inspiring each other. It is not about numbers.
Your word is wonderful - such a good, deep, thoughtful word. It will guide you through the year, and as far as I know it will guide you through the sometimes weird ways of social media.

  7. Oh boy, does this resonate. Not just the social network stuff but feeling as though this year is going to be a game changer. It feels like it has to be. I can't continue down the road I keep ending up on. I'm going to meet with a woman today who is going to help me organize and revise the story I've been working on for about 15 years. Excited, scared, hopeful, hopeless, round and round the thoughts and feelings go! But this woman is the one writing teacher that I've truly connected with and learned so much from. Something will come out of this...
