Susan, Manitou seems incredibly open and friendly to allow such a diverse panorama of attire and worldliness! It's not everywhere that you can see a fauxhawk, cowboy hat, and a utilikilt!! How eclectic! Just from first glance, it seems very liberal, artistic, and yet grounded and traditional. Truly a great combination of character!! Beautiful shots! Thank you for sharing them with us!
What fun! Manitou looks like a really unique and funky place.
Sadly, summer is not here yet and neither is spring| In fact it seems that this is the coldest spring on record for the west coast. Hmmm...I can always dream of next February and March in Mexico if spring and summer don't pan out here!.
Wow! I'm so impressed with how your artwork has progressed. Larry, your figurines are absolutely beautiful! How much do you sell the purses for? They're gorgeous? I want one!
I just found you from Bridgette's blog and I'm so happy that I did. I, too, felt the same way that you describe about starting your blog and receiving comments from "strangers" although, somehow they managed to become "friends". Some people think I'm crazy when I refer to people that comment on my blog as "friends" but I know you know what I mean. And, Nina was one of those people for me also. Such beautiful words she writes, such a genuine lovely soul she is. She is real! I love the photos you have placed here and am curious about how you get them to display in collage form. I don't know how to do that yet. Perhaps I haven't played around in Blogger enough but I'm always willing to learn and try something new. I will be back. Great stuff here.
No wonder you and Larry love it there, Susan! Life could not ever possibly be dull there, that's for sure! The first place I'd head for is that penny-pincher machine. After that, I'd give you my full attention. :D
If you have taken the time to come to windrockstudio and read a post and left a comment please know how very much we appreciate it ... thank you! and please know that I am working on the problem of not being able to respond to each one but haven't solved it yet.
loved the funky vibe
