Me too! I love how the winter reveals all the structure of what's underneath.....we will be looking out for critters together on different sides of this amazing world. x
Thank you, Catherine & Donna for the visit and for taking the time to share your thoughts on this wintertime ... in our blogging world it's like having a conversation when you leave a comment so it is much appreciated!
oh how I love this.....very interesting and heart moving, indeed:) I love the bones of winter; the way we see the structure and sculpture of each twig and trunk. Happy December to you! -Jennifer
Oh, the images are so magical and so perfect with your words! Fall is my favorite, but then I love winter..and spring...and summer. Oh my...I just love it all! There is nothing strange about enjoying bare trees...I love them. But then...perhaps that means we are both strange? xoxo
how wonderful to hear you are at peace with december's arrival. i am always glad to see november go, though i don't embrace december. the bare trees give the landscape a silent melancholy that i really enjoy (though i could do without all the snow and ice!). i have always appreciated the bareness each winter. the views you enjoy ~ they are gorgeous and colorful and just so WoW!!!
There are many people who get depressed and cranky and complainant when winter starts. I love your attitude to see the beauty in every season and enjoy the lovely and different presents given by nature all year round. :-)
Yes!!! Funny thing, I like the bare trees as well. I love to see the branches rise into the sky or disappearing in the fog. It's so magical. I see my surroundings more and more with the photographer's eyes, and there are wonders waiting for me.
I feel the same way about the bare trees and sunrise--at least right now I do. Then, come February and March, I will be craving green again. But for now, I treasure their bare beauty. :)
If you have taken the time to come to windrockstudio and read a post and left a comment please know how very much we appreciate it ... thank you! and please know that I am working on the problem of not being able to respond to each one but haven't solved it yet.

ReplyDeleteI am also a lover of the bare trees and snow-kissed scenes being made colorful by the sun and clouds...a beautiful introspective time.
