my kind of girl! LOVE a spicy soup and cumin, cilantro and coriander! Funny, when I was learning to cook Chinese style recipes it would call for 'fresh coriander' ... I kept trying to find it at the store. Come to realize that it is the stock of cilantro that they mean. If you let cilantro go to seed you get coriander. Took me awhile to figure that out - LOL
Good story about the coriander! I like to add that and lots of cumin while it's cooking then fresh cilantro at the end. That's a fun thing about cooking, all that you learn along the way!
If you have taken the time to come to windrockstudio and read a post and left a comment please know how very much we appreciate it ... thank you! and please know that I am working on the problem of not being able to respond to each one but haven't solved it yet.

ReplyDeleteYou said that just like a kid who likes their soup!

DeleteThis looks so good and yes, perfect for a cool day. What is Mexican Creama?
ReplyDeleteIt is a sour cream but to me this kind has more good, creamy taste and a little less tang.
