I love that scar, I have a small one like that on my jaw-line. I got it from falling off a table when I was about two years old. I am touched with the honor and love you give to your leather, proper thing! xoxo
Thank you so much ... it's probably the only proper thing about me! and thanks for sharing about your scar, we all have them and should love them for adding to who we are. xoxo
it is the same for me with stones. yes in many cases 'clarity' in the stone is more valuable, but I prefer the inclusions that give patterns in the stone, and show how life flowed through it. as it is with you and your leather ... the patterns make all the difference
If you have taken the time to come to windrockstudio and read a post and left a comment please know how very much we appreciate it ... thank you! and please know that I am working on the problem of not being able to respond to each one but haven't solved it yet.
This just totally filled me with emotion. Thank you...I will for sure. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI love that it did and this is just the start!

The scars are the best part! I go through my stashes of recycled leather searching for the scarred pieces ;) Love your work!
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised at all that you are also a lover of the not so perfect pieces ... thank you deeply for the visit.

ReplyDeleteYes, beautifully said ... I like that word, inclusions and thinking about how life flows through.
